Here's chapter four my fellow Deviants. And making her debut is an OC from our very own DarkShadeStar.

Tygra and Lioness were walking down the hallway from Jaga's office towards their first destination, and at this point Tygra figured now would be good to start a conversation with the pretty leo.

"So what made you choose Thunderian Academy Lioness?"Tygra asked.

"Well, it seemed like the best option education wise and plus it's close to where me and my step sister live."Lioness explained.

"I see. So why did your sister take a job here anyway? It can't be just because she likes track and field."Tygra said.

"Yeah well, Cheeta-lyra is a bit protective of me so she likes to stay close."Lioness explained. Again that wasn't a total lie but also again the young lion didn't mention the other side to the story, which was the fact that Cheetara needed to stay close on account of she's his bodyguard.

"I see. So was she serious when she said that she was trained by all those people around the world?"Tygra asked.

"Oh yes. My step sister has always been a real athlete. And she wanted to learn from the very best."Lioness explained.

Tygra nodded and let the information sink in, but he couldn't help but feel an odd sense of familiarity from Cheeta-lyra's background and the female anthro herself. It was like he knew her somehow at some point in his life. But the young tiger set the thought aside for the moment since he could always ponder on the matter later. Right now he had a cutie to focus on charming.

"Fair enough. So what part of the school do you want to see first?"Tygra asked.

"Would it be too much to go see if there are any activity clubs that I could join?"Lioness asked.

"It wouldn't be too much at all, Lioness. We may as well since the hall we're heading down leads to the clubs part of the school anyway."Tygra said with a shrug.

"Great! I hope that there'll be a club or two that'll let me join."The young lion said hopefully and Tygra couldn't help but smile fondly at Lioness' enthusiasm.

The two anthros visited all of the clubs yet so far Lioness had not found one that totally piqued his interest. Along the way he and Tygra talked, joked and spoke of their lives though Lioness himself made sure to keep certain parts secret. Then just as they were headed towards the west wing of the school they heard shouting and cursing coming from behind the closed doors of the fencing club.

"What the hell do you mean I can't try out for the leader position of the fencing club?! I'm the best fencer there is in this damn school!"Shouted a loud growling voice.

"Oh jeeze, not that hairball again."Tygra groaned under his breath.

"What do you mean? Who's the hairball?"Lioness asked curiously.

"There's this jock guy here at the school and he's a senior like me. His name is Kaynar Lapointe and he's really into weapons and physical type of things, too much into them if you ask me. He's so brutal that he wasn't allowed to play any sports after he finished his sophomore semester because he caused a lot of people critically injury."Tygra explained.

"I see. Well from what it sounds like Kaynar is being brutal with someone in the fencing club. Let's see what's happening."Lioness said and went to the doors with Tygra right behind him. The two anthros peeked inside and saw Kaynar towering over a rabbit anthro.

Kaynar was a huge bulking male jackal anthro. He wasn't wearing the school's male uniform but instead he wore green camouflage pants, a gray tank shirt and black combat boots. Kaynar was snarling with his fangs bared at the anthro bellow him.

"Now, now Kaynar. There's no need to be so disappointed. You know good and well that you're prohibited from joining any sports or physical clubs here at the school. And if I let you join then I'll get fired. It's all simple logic."Said the male voice of the rabbit anthro in an apathetic tone as he got up to stand.

"I don't give a damn about logic! Either you let me join or I'll break your neck and make myself rabbit stew!"Kaynar shouted and grasped the rabbit anthro by the neck. Everyone else gasped in horror but the rabbit didn't seem afraid in the least.

"Violence, always using unnecessary violence. Then again that's all your type knows how to use, isn't it pup?"The rabbit asked wittily. Again Kaynar snarled and readied to bite into the rabbit but Lioness had seen enough.

"That does it!"Lioness stated and ran into the room.

"Lioness wait!"Tygra exclaimed trying to stop the young lion but he was too late and Lioness was out of reach.

"Hey you, let that rabbit down right this minute!"Lioness called out to Kaynar. The jackal stopped snarling and looked towards Lioness with a shocked expression.

"What? And just who are you, little missy?"Kaynar asked with a sneer.

"Lioness Miyamoto, that's who I am, and I want you to put that rabbit down right now."Lioness said again. For a while everyone was quiet until the jackal anthro laughed.

"Are you serious? You really think that I'm about to listen to a little freshman girl cat like you just because you asked?"Kaynar asked smugly.

"I'm not asking to let him down. I'm telling you to let him down. And if you're too stupid to listen to reason then how about we settle this with a little fencing?"Lioness asked. Everyone including Tygra gasped at this, worried for the sake of the young lion.

"What? You want to fence with me?"Kaynar asked genuinely shocked.

"Yes, and if you're truly such a great fencer then that means I won't have to hold back. If you win you can punch me instead. If I win then you apologize to this man and leave."Lioness explained calmly. Again people gasped and Tygra ran over to Lioness' side in a last ditch attempt to protect him.

"Lioness, I don't think that's such a good idea. You should just let me handle this."Tygra said.

"Back off, Oshiro, this has nothing to do with you. If you're little friend wants to get her skirt handed to her then I'll happily take her on."Kaynar said with a grin and dropped the rabbit anthro on the floor. The jackal then went and took a sword from the rack.

"Lioness please, let me handle this guy. You don't know what he's capable of. He'll literally rip you apart and eat whatevers left."Tygra whispered Lioness' ear.

"Perhaps, but I'm not going to stand by and let this jerk bully someone like that."Lioness said and went to the rack then got a sword himself. The two anthros stepped back a few feet from each other and took their positions.

"Ready to lose, pussycat?"Kaynar asked with a grin.

"You first, dog meat."Lioness replied with his own grin.  Kaynar growled and charged at Lioness with his sword and the club members covered their eyes, not wanting to see the bloodshed about to come and Tygra was ready to leap in front of Lioness.

But rather than the sound of a sword slashing through flesh they heard the sound of a metal clashing followed by a grunt. When the club members opened their eyes they gasped to see Kaynar down on the ground and Lioness still standing. Tygra, who had his eyes open the whole while unlike the others, was looking at the fight and saw that Lioness had easily blocked Kaynar's attack then pushed him back making him lose momentum and fall down on his tail. The young tiger was incredibly shocked by this. He never would have guessed that Lioness was that strong. After getting over his shock Tygra smiled wide, knowing that this little leo was definitely a big catch.

Kaynar had also gotten over his shock but instead of admiration he became angry. And his rage augmented his drive to continue the fight and the jackal got up and charged at Lioness, but again his attacked was blocked. The two fencers struggled to push the other back and growled threateningly at each other. Finally Lioness and Kaynar jumped back then started to slowly circle one another.

"You may as well quit, pussycat. There's no way you can beat me with those moves."Kaynar said in a smug tone.

"Is that so? I'm not the one sweating bullets nor was I the one who got knocked down on their tail."Lioness countered wittily which of course made Kaynar growl loudly.

"Shut up, cat! I'm going to slash that smart mouth of yours wide open!"Kaynar shouted viciously and aimed his sword straight at Lioness' chest.

But the young lion simply entwined his sword with Kaynar's and forced it out of his hand making it go up in the air. Everyone gasped in amazement at this and as the second sword fell Lioness caught it then pointed it at Kaynar's face.

"Now I believe that I win, which means that you have to apologize to that gentleman over there and leave."Lioness said with a smirk.

Kaynar growled lowly and looked around to see everyone waiting expectantly. With a defiant snarl the jackal backed away and glared at all the people in the room.

"Oh, I'm sorry alright. Sorry that I wasted my time with you runts. This isn't over yet. You all are going to pay for crossing me."Kaynar paused then looked towards Lioness with narrowed eyes and bared teeth. "And the chopping block starts with your head, pussycat. Just you wait, you'll get yours I promise you that."And with that said Kaynar walked out of the club.

Once the doors closed everyone cheered for Lioness and surrounded him with eyes full of admiration and appreciation.

"Thank you so much! You were great Miss Miyamoto!"Said one young anthro.

"Your fencing was awesome! I've ever seen anything like that before."Said a young human.

More cheers and praise came and Lioness blushed at the attention.

"It was no problem, everyone. I was just doing what anyone else would do."Lioness said modestly.

"True that is, but it was still a heroic act and for that I'm much obliged to you Miss Miyamoto."Said a mature male voice and Lioness looked up to see that it was the male rabbit anthro he saved.

The rabbit anthro looked to have a somewhat lanky figure and he was wearing light gray slacks, a long sleeved dark brown button shirt, black dress shoes and a light brown scarf.

"You're welcome, Sir. I'm glad I could help before you got hurt. Who are you, by the way?"Lioness asked.

"Well to the school I'm a teacher, to some students I'm a mentor and to other students like Kaynar I'm Public Enemy Number One. But I go by the name Hattanzo Arkwright, and I'm the fencing teacher of the fencing club."Hattanzo explained.

"Really? Would you happen to have any positions open for the fencing club? I was hoping I could join."Lioness said eagerly.

"We may have a slot open and we may not, Miss Miyamoto. It's hard to say. But of course if you were to do tomorrow what you did today in your fencing match with Kaynar and your name happened to be written on piece of paper with the words 'Fencing Club Auditions' on it then we may just get a slot."Hattanzo said coyly with a hinting wink.

"Okay! I'll be sure to come after my first class is over then. Thank you, Sensei Arkwright."Lioness said and bowed gratefully.

"Not a problem, at least it won't be if you impress me tomorrow. Now be on your way young anthros."Hattanzo said and took the swords from Lioness then went to set them back on the rack.

Tygra and Lioness left the fencing club and the young lion was smiling widely with happiness.

"Can you believe it Tygra? I have a chance to audition for the fencing club! I can't wait to tell Cheeta-lyra about it."Lioness said.

"Yeah I'm really happy for you, Lioness. And it was really cool how you stood up for Mr. Arkwright."Tygra said with a proud smile.

"Thanks, but it's not like I could stand idly by and let someone get hurt that way. And there was the added bonus of taking down that creep Lapointe."Lioness said with a smile making Tygra chuckle.

"Say, do you mind if we take a stop for lunch? I'm pretty hungry and it should be lunch time in a bit."Tygra said.

"I wouldn't mind at all. I'm getting pretty hungry myself too. Besides I'll need to learn where the cafeteria is."The young lion said.

Tygra and Lioness walked into the cafeteria and Lioness gasped in awe. It looked more like a banquet hall than a cafeteria. The flooring was pristine white marble, the walls had lilac wallpaper, the five large windows were octagon shaped and had gold framing, the walls had nine Victorian wall sconces, six buffet tables that had various types of food with well dressed servers coming in and out of the kitchen and over sixty Brazilian Redwood tables with several students seated and enjoying their lunch.

"Pretty cool, isn't it? Thunderian Academy doesn't stop at any expense to make itself a good lucking school. And as you probably know by now it has the great education to match."Tygra explained.

"It sure seems that way. If I had known about this school before I would have come here a long time ago."Lioness said with a smile.

As the two walked into the cafeteria Tygra was tackled by a flash of white and black.

"Hey Boss! I was wondering when you'd show up! What kept you?"Asked the anthro who Lioness noticed to be a male white tiger.

"Hey Bengali. I'm sorry if I'm a little late but I was showing the new student here around. This is Lioness Miyamoto. Lioness, this is my good buddy Bengali Mizushima."Tygra said introducing the two with one another.

Bengali Mizushima was as tall as Tygra and had the same build, they could pass for twins if Bengali was an orange tiger anthro instead of the white tiger anthro that he was. He was wearing the male student uniform but just like Tygra he gave it a few twists thought it wasn't as wild. The black long sleeved shirt had blue flames along the hemline and the royal purple sweater vest had red wave patterns. Everything else though was kept the same.

"It's nice to meet you, Bengali."Lioness said and held out his hand.

"The feeling is mutual, Lioness. Any friend of Tygra's is a friend of mine. Especially when they're as cute as you are."Bengali said as he kissed Lioness' hand.

Lioness blushes a cute shade of pink out of embarrassment while Tygra growls viciously in his throat out of jealousy. No one but him was allowed to do such things to his little kitten! The tiger then 'accidentally' stepped on Bengali's foot making the white tiger shout in pain then grabbed his foot.

"Oh jeeze, Ben, was that your foot? I'm sorry about that dude. I guess I didn't look where I was moving."Tygra said with a fake apologetic smile but real warning eyes. Bengali knew well enough what that look meant, 'Back off she's off-limits'. So Bengali has to keep things on a strict friend/possible big brother relationship with Lioness.

"It's okay, Boss. We all make mistakes."Bengali said with a slight chuckle. Tygra smirked in satisfaction that his warning message was sent.

"Boss?"Lioness inquired curiously.

"Yeah, I'm the captain of the volleyball team and Bengali is one of my teammates. So because of my status he calls me Boss."Tygra explained.

"Oh I see."The young lion said in understanding.

"Well now that we've all gotten friendly how about we go and eat? I'm starving for some of that clam chowder."Bengali said with a hungry grin.

"Sure, Ben. Let's go get our plates."Tygra said and the three anthros walked over to the buffet tables.

Tygra, Bengali and Lioness got their plates and as Lioness was picking up his food he bumped into someone.

"Oh excuse me…."But Lioness was cut off by a screeching female voice.

"You little cretin! How dare you get in the great Ta-She Cleo?!"Asked the female voice in a haughty tone. The young lion was taken aback by this and looked upon the human female sneering at him.

The female was average height with a curvy figure and light skin. She had shoulder length dark hair, dark blue eyes, purple eye shadow and dark red lipstick. She was wearing the female student uniform but the skirt seemed shorter than it needed to be.

"Calm down, Miss. I said excuse me."Lioness said trying to defuse the situation but the girl refused to listen.

"Please! Like I would accept apologies from a petty little mongrel such as you. You're obviously a freshman here otherwise you would know to mind your distance when I, Ta-She, am in a room."Ta-She said arrogantly. Lioness was starting to really be bothered by this girl and was tempted to punch her if he didn't think he'd get in trouble.

"Now listen here Miss Ta-She I'm not about to stand here and let you bad mouth me. It was just an accident."Lioness said with eyes narrowed in determination to stand up for himself.

"How dare you speak to me that?!"Ta-She said and seemed ready to attack Lioness in some way until another person spoke up.

"Leave her alone and get over yourself, Cleo!"Shouted the French accented female voice. Lioness and Ta-She looked to the side to see who shouted at the latter and saw a teen girl walking towards them.

The young woman looked about a year younger than Lioness and she was also a human. She was a bit shorter than average height but she had an obvious athletic figure and light tan skin. She had long red-orange hair in a braided low ponytail, dark green eyes and wore the female uniform and just like Lioness she had on black leggings too.

"Well if it isn't Miss Vivian, my un-dear classmate with which I am forced to coexist with."Ta-She said with a glare.

"Sticks and stones, Ta-She, and I'd recommend that you back off and be about your way."Vivian said.

"And why should I listen to you?"The other human asked challengingly.

"Because just like getting seven years of bad luck for breaking a mirror, you recently got seven days of detention for breaking another female student's face. You don't want to make it fourteen and risk getting a permanent mark on your record when I tell Principal Jaga, do you?"Vivian asked with fake sincerity. Ta-She made a hissing sound then turned to Lioness with an evil sneer.

"Watch your back and stay out of my way, little lion cub. That is all the warning you'll get from Ta-She."And with that said the mean girl grabbed her plate of food then walked off with her two lizard henchmen.

"Are you alright?"Vivian asked as she walked over to Lioness.

"Yeah I'm alright. You stepped in just before something bad could happen. Thank you."Lioness said.

"You're welcome. It's basically my job to keep students like Ta-She Cleo inline since I'm the commissioner of the Student Protection Group, or SPG for short."Said the French human.

"I heard Ta-She call you Vivian, is that your name?"Lioness asked.

"Yep, Vivian Hale, but please call me Vi. And though I don't make a point to say this often you'd be wise to listen to the warning Ta-She gave you. She's not the type you want to hang around."Vi explained.

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind. My name is Lioness Miyamoto. Thanks again for helping me Vi."Lioness said with a smile.

"No problem."It was then that Vi noticed Bengali and Tygra standing behind Lioness. "Well, if it isn't my favorite pair of delinquents. How are things, fellas?"Vi asked the tigers.

"Just fine, especially for me since I got the day off from school being Lioness' guide."Tygra said with a grin.

"And you know Vi, just trying to make it by."Bengali said.

"You all know each other?"The young lion asked.

"Oh yeah, I often have to investigate fights with these two roughnecks involved in them. But because they helped me out when I first came here during my freshman year I don't always recommend the teacher should make their detention sentences as stiff."Vi said with a chuckle.

"And since we're so disliked by the school staff we take what leniency Vi can get from them. Even though she's only a sophomore she has just about the whole school staff in her charm."Tygra explained.

"What can I say? I have that school girl charm."Vi said and faked an innocent look then batted her eyelashes making the anthros chuckle.

"Well now that that's all settled can we gather our plates? I'm ready to eat!"Bengali exclaimed.

"Alright Ben, settle down."Tygra said and with that the group got their lunch.

During lunch the four teens chatted together as they ate and before they knew it the bell rang for gym and students began to pile out to the outdoor gym, especially Lioness as he wanted to see his step-sister in action.

While other students got ready to prepare for their physical activities Tygra and Lioness got into the stands to watch the events.

"I can't wait to see how Cheeta-lyra does in her first class. It's been so long since she's had a wide space to do all her tricks."Lioness explained.

"I see. Well I'm sure looking forward to it now."Tygra said and the anthros looked down at the field to see Cheeta-lyra come onto the field.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, I'm Cheeta-lyra and I'll be your new track field teacher from here on out. Before any of you start I'm going to perform an example of how to execute a proper pole vault. Please observe."Cheeta-lyra said and turned from the class to look at the bar.

There was a long silence before Cheeta-lyra bolted into a sprint and just as she got close enough she planted the pole into the ground gracefully, almost in slow-motion, swung her body over the bar with the tip of her spotted tail nearly gracing said bar. The cheetah anthro then landed on her feet and after taking a moment to collect herself she stood up and looked at her class. All of the students were in silent shock for a while until one started to clap and then soon after the whole group of students started clapping at the amazing athletic prowess of their teacher, making Cheeta-lyra smile.

"Wow, she did great! Cheeta-lyra's still got it. Wasn't that cool, Tygra?"Lioness asked but received no answer from his friend and so he turned to ask him again but saw that the tiger was looking down at Cheeta-lyra with a face mixed with surprise and shock.

Tygra couldn't believe it. He's seen a pole vault flip and landing perfectly done like that before but only by one person, and that was Cheetara Tsukino. Now Tygra knew why Lioness' 'step-sister' was so familiar to him, Cheeta-lyra was the same female cheetah anthro he met years ago during that gambling bust.

"But what is she doing pretending to be Lioness' sister?"Tygra thought.

"Tygra?"Lioness asked with a worried tone. The tiger anthro snapped out of his thoughts and turned his head to look at Lioness.

"Huh?"Tygra asked.

"I've been trying to talk to you and you just stared at my step-sister weirdly. What's wrong?"Lioness asked.

"Oh, well her pole vault was just so cool I guess I got mesmerized by it."Tygra said smoothly though inside he was got flabbergasted. Thankfully though Lioness seemed to go for the lie.

"Oh, okay. Well that makes sense. Cheeta-lyra can leave a crowd shocked."The young lion said with a smile.

"You ain't just whistling Dixie."Tygra thought with a serious, wary look.

After gym class was over the next class came and the class after that and so on. Soon enough the final bell rang and students ran out into the cars that were picking them up, riding with friends or getting into their own vehicles. During this Lioness, Vi, Bengali and Tygra all were walking down the stairs.

"Wow this was a real great day. I know that I'm really going to like it here at the Thunderian Academy. Thanks for showing me around, Tygra."Lioness said with a thankful smile.

"Sure thing, Lioness. I'm glad to be of service."Tygra said.

"And if you ever need a second guide to help you around Lioness you can always turn to me."Vi said.

"Thanks for the offer. Do need a ride home? Cheeta-lyra and I have plenty of room in our car."Lioness offered.

"No thanks, I have a scooter and my home isn't too far. See you all tomorrow."And with that said Vi walked down the stairs, into the parking lot and drove off on her scooter.

"Speaking of rides can you take me home, Boss? My ride only dropped me off."Bengali said.

"You mean your car broke down from your speed demon races again and you took a cab?"Tygra asked. The white tiger fiddled with his claws and chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, pretty much."Bengali admitted.

"It figures. But sure, I'll give you a ride. I knew I might have to so I told Panthro I'd be coming home late."Tygra said.

"Who's Panthro?"Lioness asked.

"My guardian pretty much. He keeps the house tidy and helps me now and then like any parent would. My mom died when I was born and I don't know what happened to my dad."The orange tiger explained with a sad frown.

"That's so sad. I'm very sorry for your losses."Lioness said with great sincerity. Even though neither of his parents was dead considering how things are they one day could end up as such so he knew how Tygra felt.

"Thank you Lioness, but I manage well enough."Tygra said with a reassuring smile.

"Are you ready to go, Lioness?"Cheeta-lyra asked.

"Yeah, I'm ready. See you both tomorrow. Drive safe!"Lioness called out and briskly walked down the stairs and to the car. As Cheeta-lyra walked down she passed Tygra and she whispered to her.

"Nice flip you did, Spots."Tygra said and Cheeta-lyra stopped cold in her tracks and looked at Tygra.

"What did you say?"The cheetah anthro asked. But rather than answer the question Tygra just walked off with Bengali awkward following after him. Cheeta-lyra stared at the leaving tigers with shock and horror evident in her eyes. She only snapped out of it when Lioness called out to her.

"Cheeta-lyra! Let's go!"Lioness called out from the car. Cheeta-lyra nodded at the young lion and walked down to the car.

No, it was impossible. Only one person in the world called her Spots and that was a young tiger punk Cheetara ran into several times years ago when she was an informant for vice. It couldn't be Tygra, but then again that would explain why he was so familiar and that could be the only explanation as to how he knew her nickname. But one unanswered question rang through Cheetara's head as she drove herself and Lion-o home.

What would happen next now that Tygra knew who she was?

During this tie Tygra nearly broke the speed limit as he was driving down the road in his red Ferrari.

"Whoa, slow down Tygra! What's the matter with you? You've been acting strange ever since gym and then you whisper something to Lioness' step-sister that freaked her out like hell. What's going on?"Bengali asked.

"Does the name Cheetara Tsukino ring a bell to you?"Tygra asked rather than answered.

"Of course, it was the name of that vice informant who always gave us a hard time thinking that we were part of the busts she made. Why?"The white tiger asked.

"That was her. Cheeta-lyra is Cheetara."Tygra stated.

"No way! You mean our gym teacher, Lioness' step-sister, is old Spots from vice?"Bengali asked with great shock.

"Yeah. She made that face because I whispered her old nickname to her, Spots. And there's no doubt now that she knows who I really am. When you get home I want you to get the guys together and get all the word you can on Cheetara Tsukino. What she's been doing since vice, what cases she's involved with now, the works. And see if you can get anything on Lioness Miyamoto as well. I have a feeling that she knows a thing or two about this."Tygra stated.

"Sure, no problem. But you know it won't be easy Boss. Spots always played her cards close to her chest so it'll take a lot of arm twisting to get some information."Bengali explained, forewarning his friend.

"I know that, but considering our special status I don't think it'll be that hard for you."The orange tiger said.

"Yeah, you're right. After all who would say no to the right hand man of Tygra Oshiro, the legendary Vigilante Yakuza Leader?"Bengali asked with a smirk.

And Tygra couldn't help but smirk at hearing his great title being said.
